Young US player returning home from Europe

Bucking the recent trend of young players going overseas Robbie Rogers has left his club, Heerenveen of the Dutch Evedivisie, to return home and play in MLS. The 19 year old forward/midfielder rights were won in a weight lottery by the Columbus Crew.

Rogers is a member of the US-20 team and is considered a young talent that deserves watching. Hopefully he can get back to form he showed in the University of Maryland.

Here is a story on ESPN regarding Rogers.
